John Harding (1881-1963)

John Harding (1881-1963), his father James (1848-1888) and Grandfather William (1815-1874) were postmen and local correspondents to the Galloway Gazette and Ayr Advertiser. He maintained a scrapbook of newspaper clippings of articles possibly written by his father and grandfather dealing with issues of the day and the activities of the Newton Stewart Mechanic's Institute.
