Simply put it is the name of our farm situated 60 Km South of Ottawa Ontario Canada.

Stoneyburn is our name for the often dry stoney creek bed that runs through the property. The Stoneyburn has its origins deep in the Marlbourgh Forest that borders our property and flows into the Rideau River. It is home to a large beaver colony who have engineered a 20 acre pond that acts a reservoir for the stream. As a result of the efforts of the beaver the stream is often dry or reduced to a mere trickle. During the spring, after a heavy rain or when the beaver dams have been breached it takes on a whole new appearance.
